1980 ASC incorporated; founded by Richard Smith, Barry Kraft and Mark Dugan. These three hands-on, individuals still run the company today.
1981 ASC DEVELOPING ON TEXAS INSTRUMENT PLATFORM
1981 Development of system to handle the requirements of a jewelry wholesale business for Gordon Brothers and Lustre Diamond

1982 Development of a jewelry retail management system for 26 store CH Rauch in Lexington, KY

ASC moves to offices on Bromfield St., Boston
1983 Development of a system to handle the unique requirements of diamond dealers for Lazare Kaplan

1984 ASC moves to offices in the heart of the Boston jewelry district on Washington Street
