Customer data can be your most valuable business resource if your computer system can gather it properly.  Most POS systems allow their users to capture basic customer information.  At ASC we know that basic is good, but complete is better.  Every Craftsman system has access to one of the most powerful customer databases in the jewelry industry.  Our software captures an extraordinary amount of information about your customers, and matches it to a detailed transaction file.  By combining personal information and purchase history in an easy-to-use graphical display, the Customer Information Center empowers ASC users to close more sales by knowing their customers better.  
 
 
Find the items you're looking for

We have enabled you to search for a customer in many different ways.  You can search by, customer name, city, state, zip, phone number, account number, or any combination of these fields.  The upper half of the customer screen displays basic contact information, address, phone number, date of last sale and available credit.  The bottom half of the screen contains ten different tabs that you can browse.  They offer access to information regarding outstanding store credits, available pickups, receivable balances and general notes or comments about a customer.  You can also enable a customized pop-up message for your salespeople.

The Personal Information tab lets you add or edit your customer information.  In addition to quick access to your customers’ contact information, the file also contains an unlimited record of relationships to the account holder; spouse, daughter, son, mother, father and co-signer are among the available fields.  These associated accounts allow you to track additional information, such as ring size and alternate addresses for related people.  The accounts can also help streamline your marketing campaigns by eliminating multiple contacts from the same household.  Of course, any of these relations can be restricted from charging to the account if you use our accounts receivable module.

The Purchase History tab provides you with easy access to your customers' purchases.  You can filter the purchases by the main account holder, or you can see the results for all the relations on the account too.  You can filter by date, department code, purchase amount, vendor name.  Every column that is displayed in the table can be instantly sorted by double clicking on the column header.  Clicking the Purchase Gallery tab instantly displays images of your items.  By displaying those images you can help take the guesswork out of finding the perfect gift; Craftsman makes it easy to find the piece that best enhances your customers’ collection.

Managing a successful business is tough work because your most precious asset is one you can’t buy or manufacture, your time.  That is why we link our applications.  If a program creates a result that inspires you to dig more deeply into your database, the information you need is only a keystroke away.  With most ASC applications, there is a good chance the program you’re using contains a link to the program you want to use next.  By simply clicking a button while inside an Customer Info, you can be taken to the repair menu, gift registry or credit summary data you want.   We make our application convenient and complete, so you can work on your business, not in it.
