CI_1_thumb.jpgWe all know that advertising for new customers is much more expensive than finding a way to get your current customers to buy more.  Smart marketing starts with a complete customer database, and to help you realize maximum return on investment for your marketing efforts, Craftsman for Windows captures an enormous amount of information about every customer.  Craftsman maintains a dynamic record that allows you to look at the buying trends of individual customers.  In addition to capturing ring sizes and spouses’ names, you’ll know what their favorite vendor is, how much money they have spent, and when they last visited your store. 
 
 
            Market smart with CRM              
CI_2_thumb.jpgWith the basic version of Craftsman you will have on-screen and printed access to the data your system collects.  To enhance your ability to create marketing campaigns, our Customer Insight module adds powerful Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM) functionality.  The Craftsman system complies all of the more-than 100 fields captured in the customer record, and creates an export that is accepted by Customer Insight.  Once inside the module, you can use the functionality to build a profile of the customer  you want to reach, by choosing from profile attributes and buying habits.
 
 
Make it easy
CI_3_thumb.jpgOnce you have built a customer profile by selecting criteria in Customer Insight, all of the data from the selected customers are displayed for you in a spreadsheet-like table.  Even though the program looks like it is built as a spreadsheet, you do not need any knowledge of writing macros to make the data work for you. The user interface in makes working with the data very intuitive. Every column in the table can be sorted by simply clicking the column header to bring the values you want to look at to the top.  Do you want to see your customers listed by salesperson?  You got it.  How about customers sorted by days since last sale?  No problem.
 
 
Inform your decisions                
CI_4_thumb.jpgLet’s assume that you are planning to have an in-store event to promote several of your most successful lines.  You want to make sure you invite your best customers, so you build a list of criteria for customers who spent more than $5000 during their last visit. You also want to be sure you invite customers who buy the several lines you are promoting.  By clicking the top of each data column, you can quickly sort for the customers who bought from a specific vendor, and have those customers saved on a cumulative list. You can retain the list for future use, or delete it to build a different campaign.
