ASCUS, ASC's User Group, was formed in 1988 when a group of ten independent jewelers agreed to contribute annually to a fund to develop jewelry industry software that would benefit all members.  That group of ten has grown to a group of over 115 jewelry companies nationwide who each pay an annual fee and in return receive over $750,000 in software programs that helps them with all aspects of running their jewelry business.
 
ASCUS today stands as the largest group of its kind in the jewelry industry. ASCUS members not only share knowledge, ideas and solutions about ASC software for jewelers, but also the latest industry and technology trends.
 
An extended support network
ASCUS members also have access to the wealth of knowledge and experience of other ASC users. For technical questions, training issues or advice on getting the most out of your system, simply log onto the ASCUS Web site. You can easily post your question in the ASCUS Web forum and you’ll get straight answers from other ASC users.

The exclusive ASCUS software module
Over the years, ASCUS members have directed and jointly funded the development of many valuable ASC software enhancements and reports. New ASCUS members receive all past software enhancements and reports in what is known as the ASCUS module.

The ASCUS Module just keeps getting better and better. Every year at the annual convention, ASCUS members recommend, collectively decide upon, and share new software enhancements and reports for the coming year.

Annual user convention
Each spring, ASCUS members gather for a multi-day convention. Organized and run by the ASCUS Board of Directors, the convention gives members the opportunity to participate in:

  • Expert panel discussions
  • Product reviews and demonstrations
  • User seminars
  • ASC training classes
  • Open support time with ASC technical staff
  • Discussions regarding the determination of needed software enhancements
ASCUS recently completed their 20th users’ conference.  The annual three day meeting covers a wide range of topics with emphasis on inventory control, CRM, management reporting and marketing.
