Touch Screen Enabled POS
The new point-of-sale has been completely redesigned for ease of use and incorporates touch screen technology.  The user-friendly interface is intuitive and enables transactions to be processed quickly and accurately.  Like the previous version, the new POS continues to support barcodes, gift cards, discount controls, integrated credit card processing, and multiple tenders - all in real time, even for multiple store jewelers.  In addition, the new POS provides image display, suspension of ticket, repeat customer transaction, mixed transactions on one ticket, easy search and void for existing ticket, and ticket maintenance after completing ticket.
 
Employee Information Center
With EIC, your staff can access a wealth of information to not only keep them current with company news, but also tools to help improve their sales performance. One component of EIC includes the Message Board which provides an “event calendar” and allows you to post both corporate news and messages for individual stores.  The second component of EIC is the Sales Summary which enables your staff to view their sales results and compares their goals on a weekly, monthly, and/or annual basis.   The Sales Summary also lists the salesperson’s Top 10 Customers Sold this Month along with those customers’ lifetime sales.  There is also a “Reports” section and an Employee Timeclock.
 
Diamond Grid
A powerful module that provides accurate, up-to-the-minute information on your diamond inventory  in a graphical format much like the Rapport grid. By easily assessing stones on hand and stones sold – and using a variety of different criteria – Diamond Grid is an invaluable tool for managing your inventory and identifying over and under stocked merchandise.   View your stone inventory by color, clarity, shape or size, as well as sales and inventory data over a specific period of time by selecting a beginning and ending date range.  You can quickly compare sales vs. inventory and other key combinations, such as average cost vs. sell price, track returns, manufacturing usage, owned vs. consigned inventory, and other key business indicators.  Flexible filters offer the advantage of viewing your sales or inventory data by individual vendor, department, group, or store location, among other categories.
 
Executive Information Center
The new Executive Information Center is a powerful data-warehousing module that allows you for easy detailed comparisons of any date range and drill downs of sales and inventory performance on a corporate or store level – designed specifically for the busy executive.  EIC enables you to analyze inventory by current on hand quantity and quantity sold, total purchases and current on order dollars, net sales per unit and net sales per ticket, total credits for the period, and other key indicators.  You can also track sales by planned sales, actual sales, variances, cost of sales, margin dollars and margin percentage and much more.

Customer Insight
With Customer Insight you can more easily identify, analyze and target customers to maximize your direct marketing dollars.  Quickly determine your best customers, the big spenders, frequent  spenders, and infrequent spenders.  See average dollars per purchase, days since last purchase, sales year-to-date and lifetime and much more.  Use valuable demographic and customer information for strategic and sales generating customer relationship management.  Customer Insight allows you to easily export your targeted lists to Excel, perform a mail merge with Microsoft Word, and create mailing labels with the click of a button.

Market Insight
Market Insight is a high-powered tool that allows you to locate with a map where your best customers live, which parts of your market are growing and where you should consider adding new doors.  With Market Insight you can also target new customers, with demographics more likely to purchase yor products and meet their product preferences.  Enhance your Craftsman customer data with birth dates and other key lifestyle information.  You’ll have a better idea who is likely to be your best customer in the future and where to locate them.  Finally Market Insight offers you the ability to determine how often you should communicate with your customers, what messages to send and track results of your mailings.

Platinum Rewards
Platinum Rewards is the premiere customer loyalty and relationship program for retail a jeweler, which is fully integrated with ASC Craftsman.  Customers earn points by shopping in your store and they also earn points through shopping online with the Platinum Rewards affiliate network of over 800 e-retailers such as Dell, Sharper Image, Harry & David and Sephora.   The jeweler is paid for the network points.  Customers earn points more quickly and the jeweler benefits because all points earned by the customer are only redeemable at the jeweler.  Platinum Rewards customers spend more and shop more frequently.  In addition, Platinum Rewards is more than just a loyalty and rewards program; it’s also a powerful marketing tool.  You will be able to automatically communicate with your customers via email at a fraction of the cost of traditional direct mail.

Web Exchange
The Web Exchange module enables an automatic exchange of data between your Craftsman system and your website.  Currently, ASC clients are successfully using Web Exchange in a variety of applications such as e-commerce and online bridal registry information.

Customer Relationships
Establish relationships between customers so that additional family members can be on the same account, allowing you to see combined history and determine true “household” purchase history.

Batches in Windows
Now you can run automated routines, called “batches”, capable of running multiple ASC reports at the same time. A batch may be run on-demand or scheduled to run at the same time every day or the same time each week on a specific day of the week.

PicturePrism Thumbnails
PicturePrism Thumbnails provides a method for you to convert all or selected item images to a Pervasive Data Base.   By copying your images, they are converted to thumbnail size, for use with Crystal Reports or other programs.

e-Purchase Orders
Save time by avoiding printing and faxing purchase orders and instead use e-Purchase Orders which will automatically email the purchase order to the vendor.

Case Control
The Case Control module allows the user to assign each physical piece to a specific inventory case and to run reports which show the “status” of each case.  Previously, Case Control required serialized inventory, but the new Case Control works with both serialized and non-serialized inventory.
